Mr. Dejan Leskaroski

VP and Head of Product Management, Mavenir

Dejan Leskaroski is the Vice President and Head of Product Management at Mavenir. He is responsible for product-related activities as part of the Mavenir MAVcore business unit. The product portfolio includes the Mavenir Evolved Packet Core (EPC), the Mavenir cloud-native 5G Core (5GC), and the Mavenir Converged Packet Core providing support across 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, and Fixed access. Dejan has over 25 years of telecom experience delivering products and solutions for many leading Tier-1 operators and telco verticals worldwide. He has managed Core and Radio Access Networks product portfolios, spanning across multi-generational Network Functions, cloud-native platform integration, and service enablement.

Dr. Wen-Jye Huang

Founder, Wave-In Communication Inc.

Dr. Wen-Jye Huang, Founder of Wave-In Communication Inc., brings over two decades of telecommunications industry experience. His leadership roles include CEO of Amoesolu Corp. and CTO of Infolink SI Corp. , alongside serving as Technical Deputy Division Director at the Industry Technology Research Institute. Dr. Huang’s background also features senior positions at Motorola , Ericsson , and Nokia . He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University , with over 10 patents and 14 published articles in wireless communication.

Mr. Alex Wu

Product Director & Cofounder, Tam Yao Technologies

Alex Wu is the co-founder of Singapore-based Tam Yao Technologies. He holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University and brings over a decade of experience in the semiconductor industry, including roles at leading wafer foundries and IC design firms.

With experience spanning both semiconductor manufacturing and chip design, Alex offers a deep understanding of the industry’s pain points. He combines the rigor of an engineer with a passion for market insights and product strategy.

His work across the ASEAN region has given him a strong appreciation for its vibrancy and complexity. Stepping beyond the self-contained ecosystem of Hsinchu Science Park, he has learned that operating in Singapore and the broader ASEAN region requires navigating a fragmented supply chain and fostering regional partnerships.

Dr. Li Fung Chang

SVP of Technology, Co-Founder of Atayalan Inc. (Ataya), & GM in Chinese Taipei

Dr. Li Fung Chang has over 35 years of experience in wireless communications, having worked at AT&T, Broadcom, and Telcordia. At Broadcom, she led the design and commercialization of multi-band baseband modem SoCs.

Since 2015, she has served as the Chief Technology Officer of Chinese Taipei’s 5G Program Office, leading the architecture and execution of the national 5G initiative. She also served as a technical advisor to ITRI and III, and represented Chinese Taipei on the technical review committee for EU–Chinese Taipei collaborative projects. She has also held a Chair Professorship at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University since 2013.

In 2021, Dr. Chang co-founded Ataya, where she pioneered the industry’s first unified private 5G and Wi-Fi connectivity platform, along with a scalable, cloud-native 5G edge computing solution. She leads private 5G business development and technical proposal planning for government-funded projects.

She holds numerous international patents and has received honors including IEEE Fellow and the Asian American Engineer of the Year Award.

Mr. CY Feng

General Manager, Business Group of Communication Products, Pegatron

With over 30 years of experience in the Networking and Telecom field, CY Feng began his career as a telecom engineer in 1991. He has consistently demonstrated his expertise and dedication to the industry.

In 2004, Feng joined ASUSTek/PEGATRON and has since held various key positions. He currently leads BG6 at PEGATRON, where Networking, Telecom, IoT, and wearable device products have experienced continuous business growth.

Feng led various projects from National Development Council in Chinese Taipei. They are 5G O-RAN private network with LEO maritime communications & 5G O-RAN Network Integration for Digital Resilience of Mobile Satellite communication systems.

Dr. Wen-Yuh Jywe

Distinguished Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Taiwan University

The Lifetime Distinguished Professor of National Taiwan University (NTU), Dr. Wen-Yuh Jywe, is a specialist in optical precision measurement, machine tool calibration measurement, precise positioning stage design, and implementation of IIOT. During his doctoral study in University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), he developed a measurement system for CNC machine tools based on Ball-Bar technology, which has now been marketed worldwide. He has served in NFU as the President, the dean of Engineering College, the dean of Research and Development and, Secretary-general, etc. He organized a research team in which members were composed of over 20 professors and 40 full-time engineers, and is running many intelligent machine plans founded by Chinese Taipei Government in recent years. The research results have now affected the domestic and international industries. He is author and co-author of more than 250 publications as journal and conference proceeding papers. Otherwise, he also has more than 145 Chinese Taipei and 20 foreign Patents.

Mr. Chris Hung

Senior Industry Consultant & Director General, MIC, III

Chris Hung has 20 years’ experience of undertaking information technology research. His research areas include semiconductor, information system, consumer electronics, and macroeconomics. He leads or has led several large-scale projects regarding semiconductor SoC, smart electronics, digital content, online entertainment survey, new online service platform, smart home, industrial reforms, and telematics. Prior to joining MIC, he worked as a research manager of a leading securities firm, providing investment analysis for companies in Chinese Taipei. Chris Hung holds a Master’s degree in Economics from New York University. He is an APIAA-certified industrial consultant.

Dr. Yi-Bing Lin

Lifetime Chair Professor, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU)

Yi-Bing Lin received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Washington, Seattle. He is lifetime chair professor and the Winbond Chair Professor of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Chair Professor of National Cheng Kung University and China Medical University, and Adjunct Research Fellow of Academia Sinica. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Washington, USA, in 1990. From 1990 to 1995, he was a Research Scientist with Bellcore. He then joined NCTU, and became Senior Vice President of NCTU in 2011. During 2014 – 2016, he was Deputy Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Taipei. He is AAAS Fellow, ACM Fellow, IEEE Fellow, and IET Fellow. His current research is focused on Internet of Things, Mobile Computing, System Simulations. In addition, he developed IoTtalk, a platform for Internet of Things device interaction, which is widely used in smart agriculture, smart education, smart campus, etc.

Ms. Akiko Nakajima

Akiko Nakajima has over 20 years of experience in wireless communications and enterprise network technologies. Since beginning her career in 2002, she has worked in satellite communications and various wireless fields including WiMAX, RTLS, and Wi-Fi. She has led product verification testing and provided technical feedback to vendors to achieve “Japanese quality” in wireless solutions.

Since 2020, she has been actively involved in the promotion of Local 5G business at CTC Group, leveraging multi-vendor integration to offer customized solutions. She is well-versed in Japanese radio laws and has supported the market entry of overseas vendors into Japan’s Local 5G sector.

Currently, she works as a Wireless Presales Engineer at ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation, focusing on Local 5G solution planning and technical promotion. She also contributes articles to media, speaks at seminars, and provides the latest Private 5G/Local 5G updates via the company’s CITTEC content platform.

Mr. Kun-Cheng Huang

Smart IoT Engineer and Manager, Metal Industries Research & Development Centre

Kun-Cheng Huang is a Smart IoT Engineer and Manager at the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre. With expertise in intelligent control, machine learning, and system integration, he focuses on driving digital and automation transformation in manufacturing. His work spans sensor data integration, communication architecture optimization, and algorithm development. In recent years, he has participated in several smart manufacturing and 5G private network projects, including deploying domestic 5G O-RAN in cleanroom production lines. He has developed AI-based diagnostic tools and situation room management platforms to enhance production efficiency and stability, promoting innovative applications of AI and 5G in the manufacturing sector.

Dr. Chung-Yung Chia

President, Network Technology Group, Chunghwa Telecom

Dr. Chung-Yung Chia holds a PhD in Information Technology at National Chiao Tung University. He began his service at Chunghwa Telecom in 1989 and has since assumed multiple roles, including Project Director at the Chunghwa Telecom Laboratories, Director and Deputy Director of the Engineering Department at the Mobile Business Group, Director of the Network Maintenance Department at the Mobile Business Group, as well as Assistant Vice President and Vice President at the Mobile Business Group. He currently serves as the President at the Network Technology Group and specializes in the research and development of mobile communication technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, VoLTE, 5G, etc.), and has led efforts to enhance and optimize mobile network service quality. He has also been actively supporting the company’s business units in pursuing domestic and international 5G private network projects, playing a key role in driving the vigorous development of the 5G private network business. Since taking office as the President of the Network Technology Group from 2024, he has led all colleagues in diligently advancing various initiatives, maintaining the strongest network quality and resilience across mobile, fixed-line, data, and international domains.

Ms. Hwang Kyusoon

Chairman, Smart Manufacturing Committee of the 6G Forum

Ms. Hwang Kyusoon is the Managing Director of the Communications Division at Wizcore, a Korean smart manufacturing AX specialist. Wizcore is an AI autonomous manufacturing specialist approved by the government, currently providing and operating Private 5G networks for about 25 manufacturing companies.

She currently serves as the Chairman of the Smart Manufacturing Committee of the 6G Forum, advising on government policies and R&D related to smart manufacturing, 5G, and manufacturing data.

She also delivers lectures on 5G, industrial communication interoperability, manufacturing data, and related topics to manufacturing companies through government agencies.
